Sascha Cutura who runs townvoucher.com says they have lots more businesses signed up to offers discounts and incentives, but would welcome more to encourage shoppers to spend their money in Colchester this Christmas. ‘We have a wide range of local businesses joining us every week to offer discounts,’ he says. ‘There are a range of incentives from discounted meals and shopping to free karate and gym sessions. Signing on to townvoucher.com is also free and shoppers will receive regular email updates on all the new offers with links to money saving vouchers.’
The scheme has been a resounding success, and just five months after launching the Colchester discount voucher scheme, Sascha has been nominated for the Colchester District Business Awards 2009 in the Business to Business category.
‘I was very grateful but absolutely astonished to be nominated,’ he says. ‘I look forward to developing even more offers and working with Colchester’s independent retailers to help them increase business over the coming months.’
